Comprehensive Assessment of Team Member Effectiveness (CATME) Available at Gustavus Posted on September 19th, 2017 by

Do you have a group or team project in your courses? Do you struggle with how to create student groups that work effectively? Wish you could easily and fairly integrate a peer evaluation? CATME is for you!

CATME is a completely online-based tool that does two major tasks related to student groups:  allows you to easily create groups based on almost any characteristics you like, including major, gender, schedule, and writing skills; and allows students to peer-evaluate based on group behaviors that are critical to success. CATME offers an in-depth developmental report for each student based on their own rating of their group work combined with those of their peers, helping each student understand strengths and where they might improve. All of this is accomplished with a few clicks.

The E/M department has paid for a site license for the 2017-2018 academic year, allowing for unlimited use. Please take advantage of this terrific tool! For more information about CATME, please contact Kathy Lund Dean (lunddean@gustavus.edu).
